THE ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

It's DECEMBER again, the season of Christmas. We can now see different Christmas decorations in every house and street. We can now hear lovely and relaxing Christmas songs. We can now also feel the cool air. Every family are now busy in preparing for their Noche Buena. Many people are now buying different gifts for their loved ones. But what really is the essence of CHRISTMAS?

The true essence of Christmas is loving, sharing and giving. Let us love one another. Forgive the person who committed a mistake to us and ask for forgiveness to the person we committed a mistake. Like the song say ,"Give LOVE on Christmas Day!!.. Make the birth of Savior Jesus Christ PEACEFUL and JOYFUL by loving one another. Sharing and giving is another way of making the Christmas memorable and happy. Share and give of what you have. The true sharing and giving does not wait for any change. Share and give of what you have with all our hearts. They say that Christmas is for the kids but it is for all of us.

Let us not love, share and give only in Christmas season. Let's do it everyday. Let us not wait before Christmas come before we forgive. Celebrate the Christmas full of LOVE!!!....

FILIPINO-VALUES Month Celebration

Another celebration was done in our school in connection with the celebration of the Filipino-Values Month. The theme is ,"PAGPAPATIBAY NG PAGKATAONG PILIPINO, TUGON SA HAMON NG PANAHON". We celebrate this occasion every November of the year. The theme is all about us Filipinos, that we should be enhancing our skills and good moral values. Be proud that we are Filipinos because we are famous in the whole world. In sports, one Filipino icon is raising our own country in the person of Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. He is the world's number one boxer in the world. Let him be our inspiration to be like him. Let us not stop dreaming. We must believe in our talents. Improve ourself to to be more good in all aspects of our life. Let us continue enhancing our good values because we are known to this good values.

Be proud that we are Filipinos. Because we are strong people of the world!!!!!!...

SECOND QUARTER:LEARNINGS AND DISCOVERIES

I am here again to share you my experiences in my TLE ICT IV subject.

I learned a lot from this subject. I enjoyed in operating computer. I can now manage to use computer by myself. Because of this subject, I have now a higher knowledge about computers. But sometimes, I have encountered a lot of problems because the computers are not functioning well. And this makes me consume more time to finish our activity. Even though I want to destroy the unit, I cannot because its not my own property. So I learned how to be patient in everything I do. This is one value I have learned from my subject. Another is, I became more creative because there are computer programs that recquire the creativity of an individual and this helped me develop my creativity. The computer helped me also in grammar because we can check if we spelled a word correctly or not using the blogger or other applications. I have also learned about the NOTEPAD and the different HTML tags and that lesson is very interesting.

I hope that many lessons will be taught to us so that I can be a good computer user and encounter more experiences . That's all I hope for this coming grading period.

TEACHER:THE NOBLEST PROFESSION

Many of us wants to be a teacher someday. But what really is a teacher?

A teacher, for me is not a profession, it is a way to help a people to become an intelligent and discipline citizen. They are molding us to be ready in the future. Our teachers acts as our second parents because they teaches us as our parents do. If we analize the situation, we the students have more time to be with our teachers than our parents because we spent more time in school. Our yeachers are our hero. They teaches us how to be a discipline and responsible students in the society. They sacrifices a lot so that they can teach us students.

Let us respect our teachers. Love them and treasure them. If we become successful in the future, it's because of our teachers. They play a big part in our lives.

A teacher is a hero. It's true. If there is no teacher there is no other profession. Let us be proud to our teachers. MABUHAY PO KAYO!

ADAPTING TO DIVERSE SCIENCE CULTURE FOR DEVELOPMENT

Exploring Science is very exciting and interesting. We can all learn different things in this world.

This month is the Science Club Month with the theme, " Adapting to Diverse Science Culture For Development". Science has contributed a lot for the development of the world. We are now living in the world of Science. And it's true, that we must adapt Science culture for the better and improvement of our daily living. We must cooperate and help one another to implement the mission of the Science Month. We must try to help in caring our Mother Earth. Protecting our Mother Earth is also one of the mission of Science Month. We must feel the heartbeat of our Mother Earth because our Mother Earth is Seeking for our help and care. She is now crying because of our wrong doing and bad work to the nature. I have a question in my mind, " What if Mother Earth will be gone?"Where should we live?". My fellow creatures it's not yet too late, it is now the time to save her. Let's give her help and care so that she will also help us. There are now many inventions that can help in protecting our nature. Let us use our intelligence in protecting her so that we can live in paradise.

Please be a nature lover. All i can say is, " SAVE OUR MOTHER EARTH AND IT'S NOW TIME TO ADAPT SCIENCE CULTURE FOR OUR DEVELOPMENT.

FILIP[INO LANGUAGE: OUR OWN

Language is not new to us because we always use it in our daily living.It is part of our life.

The month of the Filipino language is already finished but it does not mean that we also stop in speaking our own language. The theme of this celebration is "WIKANG FILIPINO: Mula Baler Hanggang Buong Bansa". Our school also celebrated the language month. They conducted different activities participated by the students of Ilocos Sur National High School. And it is successfully done. As a Filipino citizen, we must use and give respect to our own dialect. Because it is one of our identity as a Filipinos. We must use it everyday. Manuel L. Quezon is the "Father of our Filipino Language". We must be proud that we are Filipino because Filipinos are popular in the whole world, we are leading.

All I can say is love our own language because it is our identity. Use our Filipino language everyday for a brighter future.

MY LEARNINGS AND DISCOVERIES

I have learn many informations about computer. I know now how to search different informetion about some topics that are given to us. I already know how to create a blog and posts my comments on one specific topic. I can also type in the computer faster than when I was in third year because we are trained now in typing.
At first, I am afraid to touch or operate a computer because I thought that it is hard to use. But as we learn more about this hightech machine, I feel that i want to explore in the world of computer. I am also afraid when I was the only one operating the computer.
I addressed this challenges by learning seriously how to oprate this computer and facing my faer on it.
I will prove that I can be a good of this helpful gadget to our studies. I will take care this computer, so that many students will also learn many informations.

SPEAK TO ME IN ENGLISH OR FILIPINO CAMPAIGN

Are you good in speaking in English or Filipino language? Maybe yes, maybe not.
Last time our school launched a campaign headed by the English Department together with the Filipino Department with the title, "Speak to me in English or Filipino" or in Filipino, "Kaibigan, usap tayo gamitin natin Ingles o Filipino". The main purpose of this campaign is to trained the students to speak in English or Fililpino language. Because we cannot deny that only few Fililpinos can speak in English correctly and continuously. This campaign helps us to be a good speaker in English or Filipino language. As soon as we are young yet, we must learn this language because in the future we can use this to communicate with other people. But I want to focus in English language because I know that Filipino language is easy to learn not like English. In learning English language, we need more time because as many people says it is hard to speak in English with correct grammar. In searching for a job, we use English language. In going to other country, still we use English to communicate with other people.
As we all know, English is the universal language, so it is important to use this properly.

THE CELEBRATION OF NUTRITION

Are you healthy?Do you eat the proper foods that we should eat in order to make our body healthy?If not, I must suggest that you start now changing your list of foods that you eat everyday.

This month, we are celebrating the Nutrition Month with the theme,"Wastong Nutrisyon, Kailangan,Lifestyle Diseases, Iwasan".This theme tells us to eat the proper foods that contains good nutrition to give our body a long lasting health.In our school, we also celebrate the Nutrition Month.And the T.L.E. Department is the one leading in this activity and they are conducting different activities and contest, like the Cookfest, Foodfest, NutriQuiz, etc.This activities are participated by the students of ISNHS.Most of the activities are already done and the awarding of winners is on the end of Nutrition Month.If the Nutrition Month will be done, this does not mean that we are already done in doing our responsibility in taking care our health, we must continue in doing it.We should continue taking care our nutrition and we must lessen in eating junks foods or not proper foods so that we can live longer with healthy body.As the saying said,"Health is Wealth".
